if it is a leak spray the entire area around the plenum spacer with carburetor cleaner and see if the idle changes. if it doesn't, an air leak is not the problem

im not sure but i've read that u need to use the torque rench to put on the spacer to get even distribution on all sides.. so theres no leak...

ok make sure you use Super Heat Resistant Silicone. and paste. you can get a gasket but i would put silicone along with gasket if you have one. but make sure you put silicone on both sides of the spacer. then you shouldnt have a problem at all.

when i put my Skunk2 Spacers in I threw away the Factory Gaskets but i sealed it very well with silicone so i had no problems. but your best bet is to get a gasket and use silicone also. if you would have anyproblems you can hear it. it has a distinctive whining whistle sound if you are leaking. and dont forget to use the reverse torqies.
